"Thousands of years ago, Yemenis transported to the Mediterranean the incense and myrrh that came from their own mountain regions, but also silk from China and all the spices of India. Whence the expression Arabia Felix, Happy Arabia, adopted by the ancient chroniclers to designate this fabulous land of Yemen."
Location:

Yemen is located at the southwestern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, in Middle East between Oman and Saudi Arabia .

Borders:

North: Saudi Arabia
South: Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean
West: Red sea
East: Sultanate of Oman

Area:

Total: 527,000 Km Square.
note (The empty quarter to the north is not included).

Climate:

A diversity in climatic conditions due to the diversity of the yemeni topography. Climate in the coastal regions is characterized by high temperature with humidity during the summer and moderate weather during winter. The mountainous and interior regions are rather moderate during summer and cold during winter. The climate is different in the eastern regions where temperature could reach 40 degrees during the summer. Between these regions ( sana'a, mareb, taiz, ibb ...etc)the climate is transitional . and affected by the monsoon wind. Generally nice weather during the summer and a little bit cold during the winter.
