UNFPA STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES TO RESPOND TO THE CRISIS Reproductive Health

• Providing lifesaving reproductive health drugs, supplies and equipment to health facilities

• Mobile medical teams and clinics providing reproductive health services that include safe deliveries, in remote conflict-affected areas, including referral of complicated deliveries

• Providing family planning methods to health facilities and mobile clinics • Improving capacities of health providers in targeted governorates • Establishing reproductive health Information Management System • Supporting the development of a national RH Strategy 2016-2020

• Supporting reproductive health coordination mechanism through the RH Inter-Agency Working Group under the health cluster Gender-based Violence Prevention and Response

• Providing medical supplies including post-rape treatment kits for survivors of gender-based violence in the clinical management of rape and treatment of sexually transmitted infections

• Providing services to respond to gender-based violence, including psycho-social support, legal aid, access to safe houses and referrals to health and other services

• Distributing dignity kits, containing menstrual and personal hygiene items

• Engaging men and boys, including the provision of male dignity kits

• Strengthening GBV Information Management System

• Community awareness on issues of gender-based violence and available gender-based violence services

• Leading the coordination of gender-based violence response
